No, your eyes weren’t deceiving you. That actually was me on Genius last night – albeit a slightly better groomed, 6-months younger me.
Judging by the sudden spasm of comments / emails / text messages, you all seemed to enjoy it very much. So that’s good. Suffice to say it was a blast being involved with it, and I was very chuffed they liked my idea enough to stage it. And use it as the series finale too!

Thankyou to whoever uploaded it (and, of course, the Beeb) – although they seem to have spelt my name wrong in the subtitles. Also, there was some quite amusing chat between DG and SL at the end, and there was also the moment when I actually won the show and was presented with a bouquet and the award. Brilliant! I loved it! I hope Dan never found out about it, because if I were Dan, I would have orchestrated my own Piano/Choir and then given it to Dan for his birthday … but it would’ve been out of tune. And then there’d be no way for him to ever fix it!
… you know, if it were me.

Love the piano choir – best idea of the series so far – next the Royal Albert Hall! 😀 How about having two choirs…duelling banjos style? I would pay to see that 🙂
